12-year-old Leap Year Quadruplets Celebrate ‘Third Birthday’; Brothers Are All Unique, But Three Are Triplets.

This week, twelve years after their birth, the only leap year quadruplets in Britain will celebrate their ‘third’ birthday.

On February 29, 2012, Reuben, Samuel, Zachary, and Joshua Robbins were born six minutes apart.

Every year on March 1, they commemorate their birthdays; however, they only get to celebrate the actual day once every four years, as it vanishes from the calendar for three months.

This time, their father Martin Robbins has a genuine handful because every child wants to commemorate the real day in a unique way.

‘We need to make a happy decision—one wants to go bowling, another wants to go go-karting, and one wants to practice archery!’ He stated.

If readers were ever interested in learning firsthand what it’s like to have quadruplets, Martin has been talking to the media about their extremely unique litter.

Emma Robbins, the boy’s mother, performed an emergency Caesarean section to deliver the boys; Zachary arrived second.

Joshua, Zachary’s identical twin, weighed the most, while Samuel—who differs from the other three in appearance—was born last, with black hair no less.

The quads also have a 14-year-old sibling named Luke, whom they ‘love very much. ’Martin claimed that because they admire him, they frequently follow him around.

While Samuel is not genetically similar to his siblings, he does resemble both his mother and his older brother Luke. Reuben, Zachery, and Joshua are the three quadruplets that share the same DNA.

Their father remarked, ‘Sam is like the ring leader, who socially and mentally seems to be the boss of the four.’

‘The remaining three are identical to one another! They have fair hair, just like me, while Sam has dark hair.

‘Each guy possesses unique qualities, and as they’ve grown older, they’ve shown a greater interest in extracurricular activities.

I’ve never understood why people sometimes feel the need to place them in a basket when they are all unique individuals in their own right.

Josh is an avid sportsman who adores basketball and football. Zach and Reuben have a strong musical bent; they like playing the keyboard, dancing, and singing.

Zach and Reuben have a lot of artistic talent. Mr. Robbins continues, ‘Sam is the technical one; he has an

inquisitive mind and is always asking questions. The four of them take pride in being dubbed ‘copy-paste’ at their new school in Bristol.

‘It’s crucial for their social growth and helps them embrace their uniqueness as it’s the most significant period for them,’ he continued.

‘It gives them something to talk about when they get home and helps them make new, lasting friends.’
